What sets your store apart from other bridal retailers?

There’s a vibe at TDR Bridal Birmingham that is simply indescribable. There’s a lovely buzz about the place – a happy vibe, a feeling of celebration. What would you recommend a bride to do before/while shopping for her perfect gown?

Choosing your wedding dress is like no other shopping you will ever do; It’s emotional, it’s a life moment and it can never be repeated. Here are TDR's 3 Top Tips to ensure a wonderful dress shopping experience:

1. We advise all brides to really do their homework before booking appointments, look at Google Reviews, check out shop’s websites, check out the stock they hold, their opening hours and accessibility.  Ensure they have a Seamstress on hand to ensure the perfect fit, ensure they’re open at days and times to suit you and above all, make sure you feel confident that they are a great business that are financially secure.

2. Explore different wedding dress styles to have an idea of what you like and of course, what you don’t like. Look through social media platforms and websites for inspiration. At TDR we ensure that our website reflects our full wedding dress collection, with all our prices for brides to browse and favourite prior to their appointment. We have recently introduced our Virtual Try On widget for brides to try the dresses on online, before they even come into store!

3. It's really important when shopping to be open-minded: While it's good to have an idea of what you want, be open to trying on different styles. Your personal Stylist will work with you to help you find your dream wedding dress and find the dress that feels right for you. Sometimes, dresses look different on the hanger than they do on you which is why it's really important to trust your Stylist and feel safe with them that they will protect you from anyone’s opinion but your own, because ultimately, a wedding dress is a feeling as well as a look.
