How did your store first get started, and when did your journey start with ÉLYSÉE?
"We first started working with ÉLYSÉE in 2018, becoming an Elite stockist in 2021 and stock ÉLYSÉE Atelier and ÉLYSÉE. The designs represent us brilliantly, complementing our other international designer collections."
What sets your store apart from other bridal retailers?
"We believe we are different because…
- We have thought about every part of the journey. From the moment brides get in touch with us to book an appointment, welcoming them to our spacious boutique through to the alterations process, offering a very personal touch.
- Experience is everything - we want our brides to have an exclusive and memorable experience. We hold only one appointment at any one time.
- Our location is private, spacious and provides a tranquil setting.
- We are family-run. We believe this gives our brides a sense of comfort and trust which is so important when choosing the most important dress!
- We are happy to advise – if you want it, of course.
- We have selected a range of international designers that are brilliant to work with and represent our brand.
- Our secret is… we buy dresses we love, this means we are passionate about what we do. Our designers complement each other. This is helpful for brides who want to try more than one designer.
- We always stay true to our brand, and we have a fresh and modern approach to styling our brides. Brides often need to be able to imagine the total look and we love to help with that.
We are very proud of what we have created and have received some really wonderful feedback, attracting brides from across the UK, as well as overseas. We receive great feedback about the range of our designers and the experience we provide throughout the bride’s journey."
What would you recommend a bride to do before/while shopping for her perfect gown?
"We always recommend brides do their research and select the bridal boutiques carefully before booking appointments. Read reviews and select the bridal shops that stock the designers and styles that the bride is looking for. Buying a wedding dress is not just about finding the ‘one’; it is about the whole process leading to the alterations and overall styling.
Also, to leave sufficient time to order the dress and get alterations done. Brides are not always aware as to how long a dress can take to order and ensure that time is allocated for alterations or any bespoke changes."
What was a particularly memorable or special moment that occurred with you and an ÉLYSÉE bride?
"We have created many memorable moments with our ÉLYSÉE brides, working with them on their overall styling and creating the most amazing bespoke veils, for those that want that extra wow! Seeing the final look when we receive our brides’ photographs of their special day is such a magical moment for us."
